The cups are lightly fiberfilled for good shaping and additional support. Each bra cup has a cotton/spandex pocket to hold and keep the breast form (breast prosthesis) in place. This bra is appropriate for all types of mastectomy/breast cancer surgery procedures (radical, simple, partial, bilateral, lumpectomy).
